Burna Boy (born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu on July 2, 1991) is a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer famous for popularizing Afrobeats globally with his Afro-fusion sound, blending Afrobeat, dancehall, and reggae, earning him the title "African Giant" and major international recognition, including a Grammy for Twice as Tall. Influenced by his grandfather, Fela Kuti's manager, he started making music young, rose to fame with "Like to Party" (2012), and later signed with Atlantic Records, becoming a major cultural export for Africa.
