Kim Scott (born 1957) is a celebrated Australian author and Professor of Writing at Curtin University, recognized as a Noongar descendant. A two-time winner of the Miles Franklin Literary Award, he is known for novels such as Benang: From the Heart (1999) and That Deadman Dance (2010), focusing on Indigenous identity and history.
