Ed Miliband (born December 24, 1969) is a British Labour Party politician serving as Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero since July 2024. He was Leader of the Labour Party and Opposition from 2010 to 2015, defeating his brother, David Miliband. An MP for Doncaster North since 2005, he previously served in Gordon Brown's cabinet.
