Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. (born Nov. 20, 1942) is an American politician who served as the 46th president of the United States (2021–2025). A Democrat, he previously served as the 47th vice president (2009–2017) under Barack Obama and as a U.S. Senator from Delaware (1973–2009).
