Wolf Blitzer (born March 22, 1948) is a prominent American journalist and television news anchor who has been a staple of CNN since 1990. Best known for hosting The Situation Room since 2005, he previously served as a Pentagon and White House correspondent. Born in Germany to Holocaust survivors and raised in Buffalo, NY, he began his career at Reuters and The Jerusalem Post.
