Tony Dokoupil (born December 24, 1980) is an American broadcast journalist and author who became the anchor of the CBS Evening News in January 2026. Known for his in-depth reporting, he previously co-hosted CBS Mornings and worked for NBC News/MSNBC. He is also a writer who penned a memoir about his upbringing with a marijuana-smuggler father.
