Carl Cox (born July 29, 1962) is an iconic British house and techno DJ, producer, and label owner widely revered as a pioneer of electronic music. Rising to fame during the 1980s UK rave scene, he became known for his infectious energy, "three-deck wizardry," and long-running "Music is Revolution" residency at Space Ibiza.
