Alton Brown (born July 30, 1962) is an American television personality, chef, author, and producer renowned for creating and hosting the educational Food Network show Good Eats. Combining culinary science with humor, he also hosted Iron Chef America and Cutthroat Kitchen. A former cinematographer, Brown revolutionized food television before earning a degree from the New England Culinary Institute.
