Anna Sawai (born June 11, 1992) is a New Zealand-born Japanese actress and singer, best known for her critically acclaimed role as Toda Mariko in Shōgun (2024), for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress. Raised in Tokyo, she began her career in musical theater before joining the J-pop group Faky (2013–2018).
